Surf City Pump Station Improvements

  • Modification of the island pump station, upgraded from 0.6 mgd to 1.0 mgd
  • Replacement of three dry well wastewater transmission pumps with a combined total pumping capacity of approximately 1,750 GPM
  • Replacement of all internal piping and hardware with stainless steel
  • Replacement of existing pump motor controls with modern motor control center and variable frequency drive and replacement of the existing standby generator
  • Delivered project under compressed time schedule

Surf City HWY 210 Force Main

  • Design of 4” & 8” Force Main to run along HWY 210 and tie into Force Main along HWY 50
  • 15,000 LF constructed with minimal available right-of-way space and multiple stream crossings

Surf City Parallel Force Main

  • Design and permitting of 17,000 LF of parallel 12” force main along HWY 50
