Cavanaugh worked directly with Little & Associates Architects and developed a close working relationship with The Home Depot officials on the site development coordination component. The design for this new 116,000 SF facility included grading, site layout, erosion control and storm drainage design. Utility design included water connections and sanitary sewer where gravity sewer was extended from off-site. Other project features included a parking lot of approximately 600 spaces surrounded by curb and gutter, and an off-site stormwater detention facility. Cavanaugh’s responsibilities also included an ALTA survey of the existing site.
