sanitary Sewer Study update

lewisville, nc

Cavanaugh completed a Sanitary Sewer Study update for the Town of Lewisville. Working with the Town’s Sewer Steering Committee, Cavanaugh developed several scenarios which considered present and future zoning. The map (at right) was developed to show public sewer being provided to every parcel within the Town Limits. The study estimated gravity line sizes, pump station and force main sizes and locations; and provided cost estimates for each scenario.

This study provides the foundation for the town's $50 million sanitary sewer system. Cavanaugh continues to work with the Town of Lewisville and City/County Utilities Commission to move this project forward. The Town Council has voted to proceed with the project by phasing the design and construction over the next fifteen years.
