Cavanaugh was an integral part of the planning team that updated the Lewisville Downtown Master Plan. The update included:

Cavanaugh was responsible for developing a comprehensive report including schematic drawings, cost estimates and project priorities. Since the completion of the Master Plan, Cavanaugh has designed several of the key projects.
Shallowford Square

- Walking paths
- Defined guidelines for future projects for architectural design, landscaping, and streetscaping
Lucy Lane Improvements
- 4-lane street with planting median
- New drop off/pick up pattern for Lewisville Elementary School
- Designed to accommodate future improvements to library & community center

- Traffic study

- Designed widening of North Street including utility relocation & removal of existing pavement and sidewalks
- Construction management included close coordination with Town officials and residents

Town Hall Stormwater
Retention Facility
- Utilizies innovative stormwater control design
- Designed underground system located under new Town Hall parking lot
- Collects stormwater from major drainage basin including Shallowford Square
- Designed with overflow to prevent upstream flooding
- Allows stormwater to infiltrate into soil, recharging groundwater
- Provides water quality treatment to initial stormwater runoff
