Ron Lilley, LSS has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the NC AWWA/WEA Governmental Affairs Committee.  The GAC serves on behalf of NC AWWA/WEA as the professional representatives of water and wastewater operations in North Carolina.  The committee maintains contact and dialog with political representatives, regulatory and funding agencies and other associations that impact water and wastewater operations.

The committee serves as a resource to review and evaluate proposed legislation and regulations and often prepare position papers and inform the general AWWA/WEA membership of current governmental affairs.  For more information on GAC, please visit the NC AWWA/WEA website at www.ncsafewater.org.

Ron Lilley has been an active member of NC AWWA/WEA for 16 years, serving on many committees.  He serves as Client Relations Manager for Cavanaugh & Associates, based in the Winston-Salem office.
