In October 1995, Steve Cavanaugh opened the doors of Cavanaugh & Associates, P.A. in Winston-Salem. Ten years later, Cavanaugh & Associates has grown to include surveying and utility services, offices in Raleigh, Wilmington and Asheville and a company culture that revolves around client relationships.

Throughout this October, Cavanaugh has celebrated our 10-year anniversary with open houses in each office. Past and present clients and associates were on hand to celebrate the company’s success. Many things have changed in ten years. Offices have moved. Resources have improved. Associates have moved on, including two in memoriam: Fred Davis, PE and Scott Hill.

There are some things that will never change:

• Steve still cannot talk without a grease board.
• Lisa & Tory still have the messiest offices.
• You can still count on High-Five-Friday, every Friday from somebody.
• Cavanaugh remains dedicated to being there for our clients and each other, always.
